Traders and Investors,

2014 has been an eventful year and it also had a long list of holidays. We had about 19 Capital Market holidays and some of the Longest Long Weekends in a Long Long time!

We’re all hoping for an amazing 2015 but let’s get up to speed with the Trading Holidays for the year.

Here’s the Official Trading Holiday Calender by the Stock Exchanges (NSE and BSE) for the Capital Market and the Derivative Market Segments:

Though 11th November  is a Trading Holiday but we’ll have the traditional customary Muhurat Trading on 11th November. Like always, Muhurat Trading timings will be communicated about a week in advance of the Trading day.

Now comes the Sad News! There are 4 holidays which fall on Saturdays due to which we don’t have Trading Holidays for the same!

How should one plan their holidays this year?

Traders/Investors ideally plan their holidays on a Super Long Weekend or the Long weekends this year. For your convenience, we’ve tried to compile a list of these for your quick reference.
